Shimadzu has been a world leader in the manufacture of high-quality Total Organic Carbon (TOC) analyzers since 1967. These state-of-the-art TOC analyzers maximize both sensitivity and productivity, making them the ideal choice for monitoring rivers, lakes, and oceans, assisting in the management of water from public sources, wastewater, and manufacturing processes, and, in the pharmaceutical industry, performing validation processes to meet the required regulations. Today, Shimadzu´s TOC analyzers are the benchmarks of the industry.
The powerful TOC-V Series includes seven different models for measuring TOC and Total Nitrogen (TN). Each model in the TOC-V Series offers a number of productivity enhancing as well as cost-reduction features and options, including a Total Nitrogen (TN) option for simultaneous TOC and TN measurement.
The TOC-V Series provides users with the capability of measuring TOC using two standard approved oxidation methods. The TOC-VC combustion models offer users the catalytically-aided platinum 680°C combustion technique, a Shimadzu original that has become the industry´s standard. The TOC-VW wet chemical models utilize the UV/Persulfate, Heated/Persulfate, or the unique Heated-UV-Persulfate oxidation technique. The three oxidation methods ensure rapid breakdown of difficult-to-oxidize compounds. Ideal for the price-conscious consumer, the TOC-VE basic laboratory model retains the essential functions of the more advanced TOC-VC models.
The online TOC-VCSH boasts the high performance and advanced functions of the laboratory model, and is equipped with the functionality to perform continuous automatic sampling. Combining the SSM-5000A with a TOC-VC permits analysis of many solid samples, including soil, sludge, and sediments
The TOC-4110 Series consists of the TOC-4110 for measuring TOC, the TN-4110 for measuring TN, and the TOCN-4110, which can simultaneously measure TOC and TN. Offering a wide measurement range, a single unit can analyze up to seven different streams, and features sample pretreatment units that incorporate a homogenizer and the optional "Sample Thief", which eliminates the need for expensive filters when analyzing streams containing suspended particles.
The TNPC-4110 Series analyzers are capable of measuring TN and Total Phosphorus (TP) in water. Easy-to-handle and simple-to-maintain, the TNPC-4110 analyzers are intended for use as automatic water analyzers for the water quality regulations currently being prepared for implementation governing TN and TP. TOC can also be monitored on the optional TNPC-4110C Series.
