HPLC Systems

At 19,000 psi, Nexera is the world's only no compromise UHPLC, offering the speed, versatility, ruggedness, reproducibility and superior basic performance for all applications.

The modular Prominence HPLC Series generates highly reproducible chromatography while maintaining the flexibility for which Shimadzu HPLC instrumentation is known. The modular components interact with the precision of an integrated system and, unlike specialized systems, Prominence offers you the flexibility to perform many analytical tasks with one piece of high-performance equipment - QA/QC work, Mass Spec front end, multi-dimensional chromatography, on-line sample clean up, etc. In addition, Prominence systems can be field-upgraded to ultrafast (UFLC) or high-pressure (UFLCXR) systems should the need to perform high-speed analysis or use small particle columns develop.

The modular nature of the Prominence Series means it can be configured for anything from a basic academic teaching lab to a multi-stream high-throughput analysis. Examples include: 2D HPLC for biological analysis or automated on-line proteomics R&D; Prominence nano LC, which supports high-precision proteome analysis; and automated method development systems.

In addition to Prominence, Shimadzu offers the high-throughput, completely integrated LC-2010HT, which delivers unparalleled sample capacity and injection speed. Compliance validation is made easy by the integrated design, and this low carryover system demonstrates superb retention time and area reproducibility.

Software

With regulatory compliance demands and advances in networking technology, many laboratories have their laboratory instruments on a shared centralized network. From a compliance, cost and training standpoint, most laboratories standardize on a single vendor data system. Shimadzu continues to develop and refine its own LCsolution software but also collaborates with other vendors to provide hardware drivers, such as the LC Driver for Waters® Empower^TM/Empower^TM2.

Accessories
